Grand Matter: To The Girls sticker pack

Artists Alice Bowsher, Owen Gildersleeve, Saskia Pomeroy, Toby Triumph and Alec Doherty were briefed on phrases such as “free the nipple” and “my body, my choice” in the hope to spread awareness of female empowerment.

“We aim to encourage discussion on the themes explored, from everyday confidence and empowerment to ownership over one’s body,”

The result? A final edit of playful and positive stickers for those “not afraid to be bold and invite comment”. “We aim to encourage discussion on the themes explored, from everyday confidence and empowerment to ownership over one’s body,” published the agency on their website.

According to It’s Nice That, not every message made it through Apple’s filters. The agency said to the platform: “What we’ve created is a sticker pack with progressive content for the women’s movement; we did have to drop some of the more impactful designs to pass Apple’s approval process, which we feel is indicative of the challenges we are trying to overcome, but reiterates the importance of these kinds of projects.”
