When prolific fashion photographer Helmut Newton left France for Monte Carlo in 1981, he said, “I like the sun, and there’s none left in Paris.” He lived there up until his death in 2004 and continued to push the boundaries of what is acceptable within photography while remaining chic and dynamic.
