Always one to be vocal in his admiration for all things science fiction—the designer previously referenced Star Wars in his designs—Ghesquière quite literally wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to his collections. As the second series of our favourite sci-fi-horror is due to air later this month, Nicolas Ghesquière is just as excited as we are. Amongst the metallic dresses, slim ruffle trousers and floral blouses sent down Louis Vuitton spring/summer 18 runway was an 80s movie poster-style Stranger Things T-shirt.

Looks like Nicolas Ghesquière is just as excited for the new season as we are!

“I met the kids last season, and we had a very good time,” said Ghesquière backstage in conversation with Vogue, “We spoke, and we thought it was very funny, maybe, to do a little citation of the series that is coming out soon in the show. It’s always great to have a little accident like that in the styling, like if the girl has kept her T-shirt from backstage in a way, and so Stranger Things… I think it was one of the most wanted clothes backstage by the girls.”

There’s no word yet on when the T-shirts will go on sale or how much they’ll set us back, but one thing’s for sure – they’re guaranteed to be a sellout. Take all of our money LV, take it all…
