ABBA: Super Trouper Exhibition, London
Take yourself on a musical adventure with Swedish pop group ABBA as they’re honoured at the South Bank Centre in an original exhibition. Led by the voice of Jarvis Cocker, travel through nine immersive installations exploring the band’s music, lyrics and the lives of one the world’s most successful acts.

Tina Barney Landscapes at Paul Kasmin Gallery, New York

On view from January 17 through till March 3, Landscapes is an exhibition never-before-seen works by photographer Tina Barney – her first solo show in 3 years. Best known for her portraiture documenting the daily life of the social elite, Barney instead turns her lends to distant views of shingled houses, rocky coastlines, small towns and street squares, demonstrating that life, is indeed, rarified.

Town to Town at the Martin Parr Foundation, Bristol

With an aim to demonstrate how diverse the communities we live in are, image-maker Niall McDiarmid has captured more than 200 towns across Britain over the course of seven years. Town to Town features over 70 of his intimate portraits, documenting the characters he met on his travels.

The Florida Project

If you haven’t watched Sean Baker’s latest colourful drama yet, make sure you catch it before it goes out of cinemas. The Tangerine director explores the flipside of the American Dream. Young Moonee and her mother Halley live in a motel close to Disney World, but they can only dream of going there. Filled with vibrant cinematic landscapes, the film empathises with its subjects while criticising the system that victimises them. With excellent critic reviews, The Florida Project has cemented Baker’s position as one of cinema’s most exciting emerging filmmakers.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story

With the highly anticipated series finally locking down a premiere date, Season 2 of the anthology series will arrive on Wednesday, January 17. The show will depict the Versace fashion empire in the wake of the 1997 Miami Beach murder its founder Gianni Versace.

Lady Gaga, Birmingham 

The multi-platinum, Grammy and BRIT award-winning artist has announced the rescheduled dates for her 2018 world tour, playing at Birmingham Arena on January 31.
