Pigalle, Nike and Ill-Studio Have Redesigned a Parisian Basketball Court

Squeezed between buildings in a Parisian suburb, Duperré sports a brand new look.

The court, Paris Duperré , named after its location on Rue Duperré, was first renovated by fashion brand Pigalle and Nike in 2009, it became internationally renowned in its previous guise of primary colour blocks. The most recent design that unveiled yesterday on Instagram shows the court repainted in graded hues of dark blue, bright fuschia, yellow and burnt orange. Ill-Studio captioned the post with: “From us to the youth… Ill-Studio & Pigalle with the precious support of Nike.”

The Pigalle logo, designed by Ill-Studio, is emblazoned at the centre of the court, honouring the brand’s founder Stephane Ashpool’s training with local kids. The founder also posted a video of the project that you can watch below.
