“Ryan McGinley is a restless creative force.”

Step inside the dreamy world of photographer Ryan McGinley.

WeTransfer Studios — the image sharing site’s creative commission department — has released an online exhibition of Ryan McGinley’s work. The 15 photographs shown are “inspired by the experience of creating and shaping a vision of a community and a place in time,” explains McGinley. The photographs are split into five sections on the site; Family, the Road, Nudity, Rebellion and the Divine.

Published alongside the photographs is a conversation between the exhibition’s curator and McGinley, which touches upon “practice, personal history and unique perspective on landscape, travel and community”.

“Ryan McGinley is a tremendously influential photographer with a fresh, contemporary perspective that continues to have a major impact on the broader cultural field. This project offers a unique insight – for our community and beyond – on what inspires these works, and what motivates the practice of photography more broadly,” says Lucy Pike, the company’s photography director.
