Support your local artists this Christmas as self-publishers and makers take over the Royal Albert Wharf this Saturday. Photographer Chloe Sheppard, Disaster zine and Polyester to name but a few will be selling zines and festive treats and to coincide, a number of free workshops, panel discussions and performances will span R.A.W labs and the dockside.

“You’ll almost defiantly find the perfect gift for your favourite feminist or the perfect satirical card for your not so favourite relative.” Says Lu Williams, creator of the Feminist Christmas Fair “We’ll be spanning the dockside across three areas to showcase our favourite DIY artists to make the festive season a bit more feminist.” Check out the full list of makers and free workshops below:

1 pm -2.30 pm Stocking embroidery workshop with Gini Dickinson. Downstairs.
2.30 pm -4 pm Card making with Polyester Zine. Upstairs.
4-5 pm Zine Workshop with Lu of Grrrl Zine Fair. Downstairs.
