Our favourite Loverboy just teased a new video clip after announcing earlier this month that he would be holding his first solo exhibition. The clip, which promotes his upcoming show, The Come Up, features Charles Jeffery as himself, alongside a mock of ‘fashion stereotypes’ including a curatoror, an intern and a PR agent.

While the video doesn’t give too much away, we do know that the show will feature a fusion of performance, sculpture, fashion and music, with the main focus on the connections between cult club nights and fashion design. “The main intention for me was to create a space that made people feel impact,” Jeffrey explained to Dazed. “The essence of the work is deeply rooted in a lot of the themes we explore in LOVERBOY: identity, self-expression, imagination. It’s joyful.” Watch the full video below:
The Come Up will be open on November 30 – February 11 from 6-10pm at NOW Gallery, Greenwich Peninsula.
